As many have already heard and read on this board or elsewhere, Lennie's undergoes a transformation right now - we will reopen as "Shooters" on or around 1st of July.
In the meantime we will have some events ... everyone is invited!
Sunday June 17th The return of PSP Vol. 2
PSP hosts a Night at Lennie's!
Monday June 18th Khun Klaus aka Erdinger hosts his Party!
Tuesday June 19th Taco Day at Lennie's! Free Tacos for all between 7 and 10 pm!
Wednesday June 20th BM and Shooters Partner Bruce Mangosteen hosts the "Let's get a head start on Shooters" Party! He will start a thread tomorrow!
Thursday June 21st Taco Day at Lennie's! Free Tacos for all between 7 and 10 pm!
Friday June 22nd The last Night of Lennie's Party! Featuring Free Food, free give-aways (the last T-Shirts, Hats, Bottle Condoms have to go, plus lots and fun!) featuring a mysterious Birthday Party!
From June 23rd we will be closed for a few Days, we will probably have a soft reopening as Shooters on the 29th or so, and a Soft Opening Party on July 1st.
July 4th will be the official opening Party, and July 8th is Sunny Valentines Birthday Party.
We will keep you updated here on the reopening date as soon as we know how the renovation is progressing!
In the mean time: Have fun at Lennie's while it lasts! I will probably write an Epitaph after we close, right now I feel much more like Partying!

The place will be called Shooters, and it will be located in the present location of Lennies: At the Soi Diamond entrance to Walking Street. Convenient from the baht bus route and directly accessible by motorbikes all night, Shooters will be a great place to relax, chew the rag, play with girls and, of course, DRINK!
Shooters will be designed around relaxed fun. No ping pong balls, no raffles, no techno or rap, just good old classic rock, blues and country played at a sensible volume level in comfortable, relaxed surroundings. Girls will be available to join your fun, but if you just want to hang with your mates, toss back a few drinks and nibble on some great Bobs BBQ food, you'll have all the space you need.
A special feature of Shooters will be the Private Entertainment Room in the back. In there you will have separate music and video feeds available. You can relax and watch sports, watch a movie or TV show, or even turn off the TV and spend some "quality" private time with one (or more?) of our lovely Shooters girls. The Private Entertainment Room is your place to spend a bit of time away from the crowd, doing what YOU want to do.
Our theme will be decidedly American, although all are welcome regardless of where you are from. We will encourage our friends to bring Americana to be put up on the walls, and there will be a place for ALL of you to plaster your stickers as well. We want Shooters to be your personal place to spend time when you are in Pattaya.

Monkey Brains and Bugs at the FLB

Or that was the plan, however, as everybody who visits Pattaya knows ...... you can never make plans in Pattaya! Something or somebody will always create a detour from the original path.
In this case I believe the blame lies with Talen (Tim) a great American friend who I met during the first week of my arrival in Fun Town.
Anyway, Nuts (Brian) and I, had arranged to meet up in Lennies Bar at the Jomtien Road end of Soi Diamond. Lennies Bar is currently offering 'Free Draught Tiger Beer' on a Wednesday between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
Not really being a Beer drinker the Free Beer isn't really a great incentive for me, but it's a good place with a decent manager (Sunny Valentine) and friendly girls. We got there just after 8:00pm.
It turns out though that Nuts had company with him. A girl from a restaurant where he'd been eating had caught his eye, and he'd asked her out the previous night. A couple of drinks, some food and visit to the pictures ensued and the night ended with him escorting her to her room, some mild kissing and him departing alone without even entering. What a nice guy!
Now though, he had hoped to spend tonight in the company of friends for a stroll of Walking Street, but this girl had decided he was a 'good catch' and had 'locked on' pretty tight!
She seemed a nice girl though and spoke perfect English.
After a few drinks at Lennies, and me buying a couple of Lady Drinks for one of the Hostesses, we departed and headed off to the FLB on Walking Street.
One of the girls there had only returned today after spending one week at the equivelent of a Convent (strange I know!), she's a really nice girl, too quiet really so she tends to fall into the background with all the goings on in the FLB. Anyway, I wanted to catch up with her.
We get there and meet up with Talen. Talen is still in the company of the lady he had barfined from the very first bar of the Covent Garden Bar Crawl the other day. Looks like he's going for a record!
So much for the single guys night out!
